I have a Vintage Wood Display Case with sliding glass sliding doors.
This furniture piece is old, and in Vintage condition. Its fully encased in original glass with glass shelves. Glass shelf in the middle, wood slated bottom shelf. Estimated to be from mid century, ~70+ yrs old
This curio style case has metal feet similar to a claw and ball style foot. May also be classified as Turnip footed or onion footed. Intricate metal, maybe brass, with plenty of patina showing its age. I chose to not use any polish or alter them in any way. I feel strongly in keeping vintage items in vintage condition unless i know how to restore them.
The case is very large, think of an old school display case in a store selling jewelry. There is a wobble to the case. My husband feels it would take a simple screw of nail to fix it. The back panel of glass is loose, would be secure if the nail was added.
I am happy for anyone to come and inspect the piece to see its transparent vintage glory.
