Antique Church Altar 5 Light Candelabra Brass Belgian French
Ornate, filled with symbolism with the use of the royal fleur de lis on the single arm, wax pan and the 3 talon feet. The usage of these motifs refers to the Holy Trinity, referring to the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. Made in late 19th or early 20th century. Base was dropped, there's a dent to one area, so not perfectly round anymore. Also, has a small bump on the face of the well base. Part of the central column where it meets the arm, appears to have been repaired in antiquity. Cannot tell when the repair was made. Ascending arm with the royal fleur de lis weaves through creating an organic feel. Has 5 capitals and embellished wax pan.
Dimensions: 16" L X 14.5" H x 5.75" Base diameter
