Antique Art Deco wardrobe / armoire estimated to be from the 1920's - 1930's brought over from England.
This piece has had it's finish refreshed with Howard's Restore-a-Finish. Several coats of General Finished High Performance Topcoat in Satin was added to give the newly refreshed finish protection.
Small veneer chips have been disguised.
The wardrobe door has a beautiful curved front with a working lock and key. The original brass pull was broken so a close match was found and was used in place of original.
The top of the door doesn't lay flush when unlocked (see last two pictures). Once locked, it lays flush to the frame. There are two rods inside the wardrobe for hanging clothes.
This piece is in great vintage condition with imperfections such as nicks, chips, dings, scratches, etc. None of these imperfections take away from the overall beauty or function of the piece.
