Vintage Royal Albert Covent Garden Serving Plates
✨Set of Four Vintage Royal Albert Covent Garden Serving Plates
✨Royal Albert bone china dates back to 1896, and was named to honor the birth of Prince Albert, who later became King George VI of England in 1936. Known for incredibly fine, white, and pure bone china, Royal Albert designs expressed the sentimental and florid excesses of Victorian Era England, and the patterns were inspired by English gardens and woodlands.
✨These plates with their beautiful garlands of peaches, oranges, grapefruit and plums, were made in 1996 and are named for Covent Garden, a West End shopping district in London, which is associated with the former fruit-and-vegetable market in the central square, in which the Royal Opera House is located.
Each of the four plates are in perfect condition and rimmed in gilded shiny gold.
